Lake Street MVA
February 29, 2012
Meredith companies were called at 11:39 to Lake Street for a motor vehicle accident. Two vehicles had collided head-on and sustained minor damage. Crews arrived on scene and contained fluid leaks. Stewarts Ambulance personnel evaluated the vehicle occupants for injury. All occupants denied any injury and refused transport. Companies returned to service at 12:09

MVA In Center Harbor

Meredith companies responded automatic aid at 14:39 to the intersection of Daniel Webster Highway and Waukewan Road in Center Harbor. Initial information at the time of dispatch was that a vehicle had left the road and entered a swampy area. The occupant was unable to exit the vehicle. Crews extricated the occupant and Stewart's Ambulance personnel prepared the patent for transport to LRGH. Meredith companies were released by command at 14:57.

Veasey Shore Road Structure Fire

A report of a chimney fire at 12:57 sent Meredith crews to 56 Veasey Shore Road. 14C1 (Jones) arrived on scene and reported a working structure fire. The property was a lakeside summer home and access to the structure by apparatus was hampered due to a lengthy unplowed driveway. 14 Engine 1's crew advanced a hose line to the second floor and quickly knocked down the fire. Extensive overhaul ensued to root out hot spots in the predominantly pine tongue and groove board walls. Companies returned to service at 15:39
