Multi-Alarm Structure Fire in Laconia
February 20, 2022

Meredith Fire Department crews were notified at 2:32 as part of a second alarm building fire assignment to the City of Laconia. Laconia crews were dispatched at 2:23 to a building fire at 17 Bay Street. Prior to arrival of Laconia companies, Laconia PD was on scene reporting a fully involved structure. Laconia's Engine 1 immediately called the second alarm. Meredith's 14 Engine 1 and 14 Tower 1 responded to the scene as the incident quickly went to a third alarm. The fire eventually reached a fourth alarm bringing departments from as far away as Concord.

All Meredith companies were in service at 8:55.

Propane Truck Rollover
February 14, 2022

Meredith Fire Department crews were notified at 15:53 of a propane delivery truck that had left the road and rolled onto its side down an embankment. The incident occurred in the area of 109 Livingston Road. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was not leaking propane. The drivver had self-extricated prior to arrival. Meredith crews stood by on scene awaiting arrival of heavy duty equipment for vehicle recovery. Rusty's Towing and National Wrecker worked in tandem to remove the vehicle and prevent any leakage. The truck was then towed from the scene.

Meredith companies were in service at 19:58.

NH Route 25 Motor Vehicle Accident
February 8, 2022

Meredith Fire Department personnel were alerted at 21:35 for a motor vehicle accident. The initial information was of a single vehicle on its side with the driver trapped in the vehicle. Companies arrived on scene to find that Meredith PD had assisted the driver from the vehicle. The driver was evaluated by Stewarts Ambulance personnel but the subject declined transport to the hospital. Meredith companies remaind on scene and assisted with vehicle removal.

Meredith companies were in service at 22:05.

First Alarm Building Fire on Eaton Avenue
February 3, 2022

The Lakes Region Mutual Aid Communications Center began taking multiple reports of building fire at 36 Eaton Avenue at 19:49. The Meredith Fire Department was alerted at 19:50. The Communications Center updated responding companies that Meredith PD was on scene with a well involved building. 14C1 (Jones) requested a first alarm with a special call for tankers. 14C1 arrived at and reported fire through the roof from a single story 36' x 24' single family dwelling. 14 Engine 1 arrived and the crew advanced a 2 ½" hand line to the right-rear corner of the building and knocked down the bulk of the fire. Crews then made entry into the building and extinguished the remaining fire.

The first alarm brought companies from Center Harbor, Laconia, Holderness, and Moultonborough to the scene. Ashland provide a cover truck for the Meredith Downtown station and New Hampton covered the Meredith Center station.

All companies were in service by 22:23.
