Vehicle Rollover on Parade Road
July 30, 2020

Meredith companies were alerted at 22:03 for a single vehicle rollover on Parade Road near the intersection of Pease Road. 14 Rescue 1 arrived on scene to a minivan on its side well off the road. The sole occupant had self-extricated prior to arrival of responding companies. Personnel contained fluid leaks and assisted with vehicle removal. Stewarts Ambulance personnel evaluated the driver, but he refused any EMS care. Companies remained on scene until the vehicle was removed. All companies were in service at 22:55.

Two Vehicle MVA on Daniel Webster Highway
July 28, 2020

The Meredith Fire Department responded at 13:22 for a motor vehicle accident in front of Prescott Park. 14C1 (Jones) arrived on scene and reported a rear-end collision involving two vehicles with debris covering both lanes of the road.He also stated that there was airbag deployment in one vehicle. 14 Rescue 1 arrived on scene shortly afterwards. Personnel secured vehicle power, contained fluid leaks, and cleared debris from the roadway. Stewarts Ambulance personnel evaluated occupants of both vehicles. All parties refused transport to the hospital. Companies remained on scene until the vehicles were removed. All companies returned to service at 13:40.

MVA With Person Trapped on NH Route 25
July 20, 2020

The Meredith Fire Department was called at 15:19 for a motor vehicle accident with a person trapped on NH Route 25 in the area of Quarry Road. Meredith companies arrived on scene to two vehicles with airbag deployment. One vehicle had traveled down a short embankment and came to rest in a drainage culvert. Personnel stabilized the vehicle and began to extricate the driver, who was still in the vehicle. Stewarts Ambulance personnel and transported to Lakes Region General Hospital. The driver of the second vehicle refused EMS care. Personnel secured vehicle power and cleared debris from the roadway. Companies remained on scene until the vehicles were removed. All companies returned to service at 16:09.

Pine Island Outside Fire
July 13, 2020

A representative from New Hampshire Electric Cooperative notified Meredith personnel at 12:11 of an outside fire that had been caused by a downed power line. NHEC crews had repaired the line prior to arrival of the Fire department.

Upon arriving on scene, command determined that 14 Boat 1 would be utilized to supply water to the incident location. Steep, rocky terrain along with the fire burning deep into the ground precluded using backpack pumps to extinguish the fire. Personnel stretched approximately 300 feet of hose from the shore to the fire. Crews dug out the area to extinguish the fire.

Meredith companies were placed in service at 14:10.

Pease Road MVA
July 11, 2020

While Meredith crews were committed to a 2nd alarm structure fire in Campton, Meredith Fire Department was called at 13:29 for a second incident. Crews were called to Pease Road near the intersection of Woodvale Drive for a motor vehicle accident. Meredith personnel arrived on scene to a single vehicle that had left the roadway. The vehicle had traveled approximately 200 feet through the woods, crossing a drainage culvert and striking two trees along the way. The vehicle had also spun 180 degrees before coming to rest. Meredith personnel assisted with extricating two occupants from the vehicle. Stewarts Ambulance personnel evaluated both occupants and transported to Lakes Region General Hospital. Both occupants sustained non-life threatening injuries. Meredith crews secured vehicle power and cleared debris from the roadway. Companies remained on scene until the vehicle was removed. All companies returned to service at 14:25.

Second Alarm Structure Fire in Campton
July 11, 2020

Meredith companies were alerted at 12:49 as part of a 2nd alarm assignment for a structure fire at 39 Turnpike Road in Campton. Campton-Thornton, Plymouth, and Ashland crews were notified at 12:34 of a log cabin well involved. Upon receiving updates from Lakes Region Communications Center, 35C1 quickly upgraded the incident to a 2nd alarm. Meredith's 14 Engine 4 responded to the scene. Meredith personnel assisted with water supply and overhaul.

Meredith companies were placed in service at 16:56.
