Meredith companies were alerted at 1:43 for a single vehicle accident at the traffic circle where Daniel Webster Highway and Parade Road intersect. 14 Rescue 1 arrived on scene to a sedan that had traveled through the landscaped center of the circle and then continued until it came to rest after striking a concrete dry well on the right side of the road. It was discovered that the operator had exited the vehicle to presumably survey the damage and fell approximately 12 ft down the well into water. He was discovered clinging to a small pipe that protruded from the side of the well, denying injury. Meredith personnel placed a ladder into the well and the subject was able to climb out under his own power. Stewarts Ambulance personnel evaluated the driver, but he refused any EMS care. Personnel contained fluid leaks and assisted with vehicle removal. All companies were in service at 2:33.

Meredith crews assisted New Hampton in the area of 96 Waukewan Road for a motor vehicle accident with people trapped. The vehicle had left the road and travel down a steep embankment, coming to rest on it's side. The occupants denied any injury. New Hampton and Meredith personnel assisted the occupants from the vehicle and employed ropes and ladders to bring the subjects up the embankment to the roadway. Companies remained on scene for vehicle removal.
