Meredith Fire Department personnel responded at 15:25 to a motor vehicle accident on Daniel Wester Highway (US Route 3) near Mill Street. 14C1 (Jones) reported a rear-end collision involving 2 vehicles. 14 Rescue 1 arrived on scene and took a blocking position to protect the scene from oncoming traffic. Stewarts Ambulnce personnel evaluated both drivers, who were the sole occupants in each vehicle. One driver denied injury and refused transport to the hospital, the other driver was transported to Lakes Region General Hospital with minor injuries. Meredith personnel secured vehicle power, contained vehicle fluids, and cleared debris from the roadway.. All companies returned to service at 15:50.

The Meredith Fire Department was called as part of a 4th alarm assignment. Ossipee crews were on scene at 3 Puritan Lane with two structures well involved along with several large propane cylinders venting that were feeding the flames. 14 Engine 1 responded to the scene with a crew of five. Meredith personnel assisted with fire suppression and extensive overhaul. 14 Engine returned to service at 20:02.
