Route 25 MVA With Extrication

Meredith Fire Department personnel were notified at 13:41 of a motor vehicle accident on NH Route 25 at the intersection of Keyser Road. While companies were en route to the scene, additional information was received that three vehicle were involved and one vehicle had an occupant that was trapped. The crew of 14 Rescue went to work with hydraulic tools and quickly freed the occupant. All vehicle occupants were evaluated by EMS and it was quickly determined no one required transport to the hospital. With extrication complete, personnel secured vehicle power, contained fluid leaks, and cleared debris from the roadway. Companies remained on scene until the vehicles were removed. Meredith Assists At Moultonborough First Alarm Structure Fire

Meredith companies responded at 20:49 to a first alarm structure fire at 18 Captains Walk in Moultonborough. Moultonborough command reported a large, well involved 2 and one half story lakefront dwelling and requested fire boats from Meredith, Gilford, and Tuftonboro in addition to the first alarm assignment. Meredith personnel assisted with fire suppression and water supply from both companies. Meredith companies were placed in service the next morning at 1:56
