2nd Alarm Structure Fire In Laconia
March 30, 2018

Meredith companies were called at 18:11 to assist Laconia for a 2nd alarm building fire at 17 Dyer Street. Laconia crews were alerted to a building fire at 18:06. Lakes Region Communications Center reported to Laconia companies that smoke was visible from the Center. 13 Engine 1 requested a first alarm immediately which brought 14 Engine 1 into the city to cover at the Weirs station.

Laconia companies arrived shortly after and reported a large two story row house with fire extending up the outside of the building on the C/D corner and requested a second alarm. 14 Engine 1 diverted to the scene and 14 Engine 2 was added to the response. 14 Tower 1 was assigned to cover at the Laconia Central station.

All Meredith companies were in service at 20:15 hours.
