Automatic Aid to Center Harbor

Center Harbor and Meredith companies were alerted at 15:11 of a garage fire at 121 Daniel Webster Highway. 14C4 (Haines) arrived on scene at 15:14 and reported a large, well involved garage with several exposures. He then requested a first alarm assignment. This brought additional companies from Holderness (12), Ashland (2) and Moultonborough (15) to the scene.
Crews made a quick knockdown on the fire but the structure was determined to be a total loss. The garage contained several barrels of waste oil which started to leak during the blaze causing it to start running down the driveway. Crews were able to contain the spill during overhaul before it reached any waterways. Meredith and the first alarm companies were released from the scene at approximately 16:30 hours.
