Meredith crews assisted in Sanbornton at what would become a three alarm building fire at 158 Upper Bay Road. Sanbornton; with Laconia, Tilton-Northfield, Belmont, Meredith, and Franklin, was dispatched to an automatic first alarm building fire at 19:18. Belmont Deputy Chief Black arrived on scene a few minutes later and reported a large barn well involved and requested a second alarm. The barn was attached to a large farmhouse by an ell. Crews were able to stop the fire at the ell and exterior operations were maintained to extinguish the fire in the barn. Meredith personnel worked assisting with fire suppression and water supply. 14 Engine 4 was placed in service at 23:00.

Meredith companies responded at 9:56 to a report of a large oil spill at 24 NH Route 25. 14 Rescue 1 arrived on scene to a spill that began at the entrance to Meredith Village Savings bank and continued for approximately 300 feet into the parking lot. Personnel applied absorbent material to the spill, which was later swept up and disposed of properly. The vehicle leaking the fluid was towed from the scene. All companies were in service at 10:22.
