Meredith crews responded for the second day in a row to assist in Laconia at a second alarm building fire at 499 Elm Street. Laconia command called for a second alarm at 21:49. Command advised of heavy fire in the attic of a two story multi-family dwelling. Meredith's 14E1 operated at the scene performing fire suppression and overhaul. 14 Tower 1 was assigned to cover at the Laconia Central Station. Meredith companies were placed in service at 00:37 on DEcember 27th.

Meredith crews were called to assist in Laconia at a second alarm building fire at 10:05. Laconia, along with Gilford and Belmont, was notified of the fire at 9:53. 8C1 (Carrier) arrived on scene at 9:58 and reported a two story mixed occupancy with heavy smoke showing and requested a second alarm. Laconia companies arrived on scene and effected a rescue of a building occupant on the second floor. The building housed the offices of the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association on the first floor. Meredith's 14E1 operated at the scene performing fire suppression and overhaul. 14 Tower 1 was assigned to cover at the Laconia Central Station. Meredith companies were placed in service at 14:02

Meredith crews were alerted at 17:47 for a motor vehicle accident. Information provided by Lakes Region Mutual Fire Aid Communications Center advised that a pickup had struck a tree and the vehicle occupants were trapped. 14C2 (Kloetz) arrived on scene and reported that the occupants had self extricated. Crews secured vehicle power, contained fluid leaks, and assisted with vehicle removal. Stewarts Ambulance transported the three occupants to LRGH with non-life threatening injuries. All companies returned to service at 18:28.
