Daniel Webster Highway Motor Vehicle Accident

Meredith Fire Department personnel were alerted at 15:40 of a motor vehicle accident at 136 Daniel Webster Highway (US Route 3). 14C1 arrived on scene and reported that a boat had fallen from a trailer while being towed and the tow vehicle had jackknifed. The vehicle and boat had come to rest in the parking lot of the Mello Moose Coffee House. Stewarts Ambulance personnel evaluated the driver, who denied injury and refused transport to the hospital. Meredith personnel remained on scene until the truck, trailer and boat were removed from the scene. All companies returned to service at 16:10. Command: 14C1Companies on scene: 14 Rescue 1
